this is the device I wrote about in the Metropolitan Cathedral that is hung from the ceiling. The point was originally above the lower left corner of the paper, and you can see how much the church has moved.

the man on the left is a Spaniard collecting money. He is painted in blue and looks like a demon of sorts.

the woman standing up on the left side is Frida. Rivera depicted Frida dozens of times throughout his work.

this is a model of what DF used to look like. the blue is all of the water, as the city was built upon a lake.
