Semana Santa, Dia de los Flores

When I got home after the beach, this was set up in my garage. Apparently, the day before my family served free flavored ice to people passing by as a part of the holidays.

The typical fesitivites outside my house, but this time it was brighter with more people and not held on the usual Sunday.

These flowers are made out of corn husks. They are painted and then coated with hairspray. They are gorgeous and I bought a bunch, although they are incredibly delicate, because I couldn´t get enough (not to mention they cost $1)

I thought these women were really beautiful

I´m not sure what they are called, but these type of flag/banner things were hung everywhere. Also, this picture was taken at 8 a.m., but as you can see there are people everywhere.
